Happy Thursday readers!
If you have a solid skincare routine, chances are you already incorporate some type of mask to either hydrate your skin or combat oil. But, what if you want to address both issues or you simply want to take your skincare to the next level?
That’s where the trend known as multi-masking comes into play.
Similar to the term multi-tasking, multi-masking allows you to customize your skincare routine while targeting multiple concerns at the same time with skincare masks. If your cheeks are dry and need hydration but your forehead is breakout city, apply a gel or cream based mask to your cheeks and a clay based mask on your forehead. Doing this will help balance out your skin and is great to use once the weather changes, which can cause your skin to act out.

I don’t do multi-masking per se, but I do keep certain masks to only portions of my face like clay masks I focus on my t-zone since I have combo skin. I just leave my cheeks alone when I’m doing a clay mask. Maybe I should try a hydrating mask on my cheeks now. I also typically use 2 different types of face creams since I need more moisture on my cheeks.

If you have a hydrating mask already, it wouldn’t hurt to try it. During the summer, I’ll use a clay mask all over just because I tend to get more oily and then change it up a bit in the winter. I have combo skin too. Which face creams do you use? I’m tempted to try Eminence Balancing Moisturizer Duo as it has two moisturizers in one jar. Could be something you could check out too as you get two in one. 🙂

Great idea! I never do this but it totally makes sense, especially because I have combo skin. Thanks for the tip!
