Peptides! Retinol! Alpha hydroxy acids!
These are all fantastic ingredients in skincare but do you need them all once? Not necessarily. In fact, using products with too many active ingredients all at once can result in irritated skin. Always introduce these products slowly into your skincare regimen, use small amounts and follow your esthetician’s/docotor’s protocol on how to use them. And, if you happen to experience product overload, stick to a basic routine: basic cleanser, basic toner and moisturizer until your symptoms subside.
Thanks for reading and have a wonderful weekend,
Stephanie
Great advice Stephanie! I hope you have a great weekend! <3 xo
Thanks Ms. Katie! Likewise! 🙂
Top advice Stephie – I think we’re all guilty of plying our skin with too many lotions and potions every now and again *sigh* X
Thanks Karen. And yes, I am so guilty of this too! Shame, shame because I know better but sometimes I tend to get a bit overzealous and well, there’s the consequences. Bright side of this: I’ve figured out how to handle it when it happens. 🙂
Great tips! 🙂
<3 Thanks Jen!

You’re welcome. I think all of us at some point are guilty of this 🙂
Basic is always the best (and easiest)!
It is much easier but sometimes adding an extra step here and there makes a world of a difference. You just have to figure out what works for you and not attack your skin with too many actives all at once-balance is key. 🙂
That’s true, thanks for the suggestion. 🙂
🙂 You’re welcome!
