Sephora VIB Sale Wish List 2015!

Hi everyone!  How was your weekend?  I stayed home on Halloween, curled up watching movies including Hocus Pocus and I really enjoyed my low key night.  I was also leafing through the Sephora holiday catalog that arrived over the weekend, excited about the sale coming up in the next few weeks and decided to share my wish list with you. 🙂

Burberry Kisses Lipstick 

I already love their blush and have heard great things about their lipsticks.  Shades I’m interested include Nude Beige and Devon Sunset.

YSL Rouge Volupte 

Love the packaging on this- so sleek and elegant and they have a great selection of shades.  I’m eyeing Peach Passion.

Hourglass Extreme Sheen High Shine Lip Gloss 

I’ve been browsing Hourglass products and two lip gloss shades have caught my attention: Child, a pale pink beige and and Fortune, a festive metallic golden pink.

With the contouring craze, this looks like a nice set to have.

I have yet to try out the Beauty Blender-yes, I can hear the gasps now but it’s just one of those things I’ve glossed over and thought of as unnecessary.  However, I might just bite the bullet and see what the fuss is all about and this looks like a good investment.

Okay, I will be shallow for a moment and say that I mainly want this lipstick because of the gorgeous packaging.  So pretty and luxe and touch ups would be a joy! Unfortunately, this comes with a hefty price tag so the discount might help.

Dior Addict Fluid Stick 

Another great product that is constantly raved about.  Whisper Beige and Pandore are shades I am looking at trying.

Of course as is often the case, my mind will change and I may pick up something else entirely but I’ve been lusting over these for a while so we’ll see. 🙂

  1. I saw that Kevyn Aucoin contour kit on another blog and it’s on my wish list too! I just wish it wasn’t limited edition.
    I have a couple of the Guerlain Rouge G lipsticks and I really love the formula! And actually, the packaging – while innovative – is SUPER bulky and heavy. I feel like I’m getting a work out lifting that thing to my lips and toting it around in my purse lol!

    • I know, it sucks that it is LE. I’m debating on this or the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow. Aaaah decisions, decisions, lol. Oddly, I didn’t think about that aspect of the packaging. It looks so nice and I have heard great things about the formula. We’ll see. 🙂

  3. Have you tried the YSL Rouge Volupte before? I switch between that (Beige Ultimate) and the Gloss Volupté (Terriblement Fuchsia) and love everything about both of them. They are pricey, but worth every penny–especially with the sale discount! The color payoff on both of the shades that I use is fantastic too. I’m sure the others are the same!

    I’ve already got Fresh Rose Hydrating Gel Cream and Eye Cream in my shopping cart ready to go! I got the new Urban Decay Vice4 palette for my birthday, otherwise it would be on my wish list too. ^_-

    • No, I haven’t tried them yet. I have one of their lipsticks, the Rouge Pur Couture and love it. I’ve seen these before but somehow just dismissed them but now I can’t ignore them. I’ll keep the shades in mind you suggested-thank you! Ooooh, Fresh products are pricey so the discount helps. I like the Fresh Black Tea Age Delay Eye cream. 🙂 And UD Vice palettes are great to have. Lucky. 🙂

      • I’m sure you’ll love the Rouge Volupte, whichever color you choose. It goes on smoothly like butter and even smells lovely. Scent is such a strange thing for a lipstick, but it’s a nice touch. And yes! I got a sample of the Black Tea eye cream recently and it really was nice! So fun to chat about makeup. I’m usually surrounded by men who couldn’t care less lol (But Hubby did buy the Vice4 for me, so he does pay attention to my excited ramblings. ^_^)

        • I’ll make sure to post what I bought as well as reviews on the YSL. I’m pretty sure it won’t disappoint. Yes, I think a scent can make or beak a lipstick. I love the subtle rose scent of the YSL lipsticks and don’t mind it but when it comes to say the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick, that scent now makes me gag. It’s a bit to strong, though I used to like it. So weird how it changes. I agree, I love talking about makeup and I am so glad that I have such lovely bloggers to share this with. Everyone else sees it like, okay, whatever, lol. And while I can hold a conversation about other topics as well, I just love makeup and how pretty it is, you know? Awe, I’m so glad he bought it for you. Sometimes it pays to talk incessantly about it. 😉 Thanks so much for your makeup advice.     • Yes, I realized that when I was putting my list together, lol. What can I say? I love my lippies. 🙂 This is what the website says that spray thing is: Rea.activate rehydrator and makeup-refinishing spray (mini size). Not sure it’s cleanser but maybe helps to dampen the sponge instead of water?

    • I can’t believe after all this time, I haven’t given the Beauty Blender a proper chance. I’ll make sure to get it. 🙂 I’m so happy Sephora is now carrying Burberry. Thanks for the tip. 🙂

    • I will definitely post what I end up with. 🙂 I’m saving for possibly some Tom Ford or Charlotte Tilbury makeup too. At least one item or so because it’s all I would be able to afford knowing my makeup addiction, lol. Yes, Hocus Pocus has been on my must see movie since I first saw it when it came out ages ago. 🙂
