Hello readers!Β Hopefully all is well in your world. π
For today’s post, I need your input.Β I’ve had by beloved M.A.C. blush brush since 2006 and sadly it’s showing it’s age now and shedding like crazy.Β Β I am on the hunt for a new one and while I wouldn’t mind purchasing another M.A.C. brush-it really is great- I can’t ignore the plethora of amazing brushes that have surfaced in recent times.
So, my dear readers, I’d love to hear from you:Β what blush brush would you recommend?Β You’ll not only be helping me but also anyone else who is currently looking for a new brush. π
I look forward to hearing from you,
StephanieΒ Β

Oh this is so hard to choose, but my two favorite blush brushes are Real Techniques Blush Brush for $8.99 and the Sigma F15 for $27.00, one low end and one high end. I have heard great things about Zoeva and I hope to place an order later this month or March because I feel like you can never have too many brushes lol <3 Janet

I have a funny feeling Real Techniques is going for the win, haha. I have a Sigma eyeliner brush and it’s really good but I may stick to something a little less $$$ for now. I have to save for my CT purchases. Darn this current obsession with CT makeup. I literally check the site everyday searching for what I can get. Sorry, that was a little off-topic, lol. Thanks for in suggestion! π
janandjot says
LOLOL I know what you mean I haven’t seen the Mattes come out yet and I keep checking. I really want some but I guess I technically don’t need anymore lipsticks but these we both have wanted for ages. Yay to RT you won’t regret it π
stephieestie says
Yeah I don’t technically need any more lipsticks either but that’s why I will get colors I don’t really have. Totally valid and justified excuse, right? π
janandjot says
LOLOL yes that is my excuse on my big orange kick. I even showed my husband my collection to justify why I needed more orange lipsticks and he agreed hahaha he is the best! Well I got 3 orange lipsticks but I am saving those for Spring/Summer since I have to use up these dark ones I have
stephieestie says
Awww…sounds like a good husband. π I love orange lipsticks on cloudy days because I feel it brightens things up.
janandjot says
I am excited to try out orange because it took me forever to wear nudes and now I can’t stop so I hope orange is the same π

Real Techniques blush brush! I love it! <3
stephieestie says
Thank you so much for the input. Everyone has been raving about them but I still want to get feedback from my fellow bloggers and readers. π
beckinablog says
It’s probably one of my favourite brushes! I use it for blush, bronzer and highlight, I probably need to get another! Haha.
stephieestie says
Never hurts to have back ups. π
beckinablog says
Exactly! X
Karen Rees says
Awwh, such a shame your little brush is one it’s way out!! It lasted sooo long!! Definitely Real Techniques for me – they’re fab π X
stephieestie says
I know Karen, it’s sad. π Yes, it lasted such a long time. I took real good care of it and it’s traveled to NYC, Cabo and beyond! Real Techniques seems to be in the lead right now. Thanks for your response π
Karen Rees says
Oh wow – that’s one well travelled little brush!!! Almost seems a shame to throw it Stephie… I’m ridiculously sentimental :'( Hope you find a new travel buddy soon *sob* Xo
stephieestie says
It is (was?). I don’t want to throw it out, seems so harsh, but it just sheds so much now. π Looks like RT may have to join me from now on
Karen Rees says
Maybe you could demote him to a little duster brush for your computer keypad?! π hehe x
stephieestie says
That’s a great idea! π
Pores for Thought says
I agree with the other comments, the real techniques blush brush is amazing. It’s also good for applying bronzer and powder so it’s very versatile xx
stephieestie says
Thanks so much for suggestion. Highly appreciated! π

I have bare minerals blush brush and love it
stephieestie says
You’re the first one not to suggest the Real Techniques brushes, lol. Thank you!
amysbeautydiary says
I really like using my sigma angled contour brush for blush! π but I agree, the real techniques blush brush is really good too. And I bet they have one in their new metallic collection! π
stephieestie says
The metallic collection sure looks pretty. Thank you for your feedback Amy! π
lush4blush says
The original real techniques blush brush is where it’s at! But I really want to get my hands on the new one in the Rose gold packaging! Just not so happy about the price tag
stephieestie says
Thank you! I know sometimes the price can be a deterrent but if they last a long time and the quality is excellent, I don’t mind. π
Dorkchops says
Definitely Real Techniques! π π
stephieestie says
Thank you! π
Dorkchops says
Hehe it’s soft, affordable and works really well! <3
stephieestie says
All great qualities for a blush brush π
Dorkchops says
Definitely hehe! π

I have heard great things about the Real Techniques blush brush π lol
stephieestie says
The majority seem to think so too π
theworldofcos says
I have the RT Blush brush & RT Multitasking brushes for blush. The RT Blush Brush is bigger if u like them fluffy.
stephieestie says
I do like blush brushes more on the fluffier side because I feel you have better control over the color versus a denser brush where it may apply to much color that you need to buff out. Thanks Cos!
theworldofcos says
Cool! I would go with the RT Blush Brush then! π
twirlsswirlsandsparkles says
I’d say the Real Techniques blush brush?
stephieestie says
Thank you! π

Coastal Scents has some nice blush brushes & are super cheap. I love the blush brush of theirs I have.
stephieestie says
Thanks Amy! I’ll check those out. I think I may try the Real Techniques one but since Coastal Scents are inexpensive, I may pick one up too. Doesn’t hurt to have a back up. π
TheMakeupCase17 says
I have a review on my blush brush on my blog (along with some other Coastal Scents brushes I have) back in December. Tomorrow I got a review posting of some more Coastal Scents brushes I got last month.
stephieestie says
Thanks for the heads up. I’ll make sure to check out tomorrow’s post and the previous one. π
glamwithsam says
You should check out Flower Beauty Ultimate Blush Brush at Walmart. It is my favorite brush and I’ve had zero hair fallout. It’s about $13 bucks and adds color beautifully.
stephieestie says
Thanks for the suggestion! Flower Beauty is Drew Barrymore’s line right?
glamwithsam says
Anytime! it certainly is and it’s a great little brush line. I feel your pain since I had to throw away (it hurts even to say it lol) my Mac blush brush after having it for 8 years.
stephieestie says
Those brushes do last long! A fellow blogger (Karen from Confetti and Curves) gave me the cute idea of demoting the brush to a duster so I may just do that. I feel your pain of throwing it away though. π
glamwithsam says
That’s a clever idea! I’ll have to keep that in mind next time. ?
stephieestie says
Right? π
