Catching Up On Awards!

Hello readers!  I’m taking this Wednesday to kind of quickly post and acknowledge some of the awards I have been given.  I know, I know, it has taken me a while to get around to this (sorry!) but I do appreciate each and every award I get. Below are 7 facts about me! 

1) Somehow I always manage to get sick or have motion sickness on trips.

2) I am fluent in Spanish and can both read and write it; in fact, I once drafted a mini script all in Spanish for an assignment and really enjoyed it. Need to get back into practicing it though. 🙂

3) I find snails absolutely terrifying and creepy.

4) Lois Duncan and Joan Lowery Nixon were two authors whose books I couldn’t stop reading during my teenage years. Locked in Time is still one of my favorites of all time.

5) I am signed up to to take a Cosmetic Chemistry course at UCLA this month and I am beyond thrilled.

6) I have this weird thing where I am intuitive to certain people. I can feel their emotions and know things about them without them telling me.  I do not pick what individuals I have these strong ties too but it’s kind of eerie at times to say the least. It freaks people out, and me. By chance, does anyone else have this or know why this happens?

7) One talent I wish I had was the ability to sing.

  3. I think being super intuitive means that you care a lot about the people around you. You hope that they’re happy and comfortable in their surroundings, so in turn you’re also very observant to people’s reactions and behaviors. 🙂 And congratulations for all those awards!

    • True, I care a lot about the people around me. The weird thing though is sometimes these people are new to my life yet I have such a strong connection with them that I can’t explain;almost as if I had known them for a long time. Thanks! 🙂

        • That’s what I read but I don’t know. It is weird for sure but then so intriguing, you know. I wonder if I knew them in a former life, what happened? It must be pretty strong. I read about karmic ties and it makes some sense but then it doesn’t, lol.

  5. Congrats on the nominations! <3 That's so cool you're intuitive, I kind of have a way of reading people and sometimes strangers will walk up to me and just tell me the most personal stories. It's weird but it makes life interesting. lol I also wish I could sing because I love to do whether my voice is awful or not! lol Often my son is like please no, stop. 😀 Great answers, I enjoyed reading them!

    • Thanks Jen! I’m sure that makes your life interesting;maybe they gravitate to you because you send a sympathetic vibe. I know what you mean by weird yet interesting. That is the story of my life sometimes. You’re like, okay, what the heck was that but then you look back and start to laugh because how many people can talk about or have an experience like that. Though sometimes, you just wish that never happened. Yeah, I do not have a great voice but love to sing along. If I ever have kids, I’m pretty sure they will say the same thing, hehe.

      • Yes, I think people do get the sympathetic vibe from me. I’m just all like Hi! and then they unload all of their concerns. lol But that’s ok! I agree, I’m like wtf was that but then later I think about it and maybe they just needed a perfect stranger to listen. Whatever, who knows!?! lol Yes, my 5yr old is like mommy, stop you’re ruining the song!! I’m just like psssh, you’re too young to be saying that to me!

        • Haha. Oh my gosh, your kids sound like my sisters and how they tell my mom the same thing! Must be a kid thing, lol. Something to look forward too, getting those comments because I am sure it will be the same. Well, just know your kids love ya in their funny own way. 🙂
