It’s the end of March guys! Can you believe it? This means it’s time to see what my favorite products of this month were. Let’s get started!
Laneige BB Cushion
I received this sample in a Target Beauty Box and I absolutely love the finish it provides. It’s enough to cover up my redness while still maintaining a natural and satin look. It’s a bit pricey so I’d love to try out the L’Oreal one too and see how it compares.
IPKN Flash Cream Radiant Primer
This product was included in my January Birchbox and while it wasn’t initially my favorite back then, I tried this on when my skin looked a little lackluster and it gave such a pretty glow. I’m still not a fan of the scent, but this is a nice, subtle product to use when you need a bit of a pick me up.
NYX Intense Butter Gloss in Apple Dumpling
Another Spring 2016 shade that I picked up at the NYX store, I love how pigmented these glosses are as well as inexpensive. You literally can just swipe this on and go as you’ll get opaque coverage with a glossy finish.
Dr. Lipp Miracle Balm
There’s always room for a lip balm and I really love this one. The formula is thick but spreads easily without feeling goopy on the lips. It nourishes skin and helps keep them feeling soft and hydrated.
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Eyeshadow Palette
I’m in love with the creamy pigmentation of this formula as well as the neutral colors. For a full review, click here.

beautyblender
I purchased this last year and while I used it here and there, it’s been pretty much on the back burner until now. I’ve been using the beautyblender regularly and there’s no cakey foundation here. It really helps to blend everything in.
Dermalogica Hydrablur Primer
I picked this up when I went to the Dermalogica Headquarters and I’m so happy I did. Although I don’t experience much hydration from this, it really smooths out my skin’s surface and helps minimize the appearance of my pores. Definitely provides a smooth canvas to work off of.
Joico Color Balance Blue Shampoo
A few weeks ago I dyed my hair and got highlights. I was advised to buy a shampoo that would help prevent a brassy hue and after visiting my local beauty supply store, I found this shampoo. It’s supposed to neutralize brassy/orange tones to maintain lightened or highlighted brown hair. It literally lathers up blue and kind of stains your hands with a blue shade. It reminds me of that scene in Bride Wars where Kate Hudson’s hair turns out blue. Fortunately, this does rinse off clean and after a minute or two, the color washes off from your hands-no need to wrap your hair with a shirt or book an emergency appointment with your hairstylist. So far, so good.
Here’s a picture of my highlighted hair though it’s a bit lighter now.
What are your March favorites?

Right? I can’t believe March is over! On to April we go. Crazzy how time is flying. That Tarte palate looks fab! And I love that NYX gloss in Apple Dumpling 🙂
stephieestie says
Yes, time is zooming by. The eyeshadows are crazy buttery smooth! And gotta love the pigmentation for the glosses! 🙂
thepinkimpact says
Buttery smooth is the best! And also actual butter, hahaha 😀 you’re right, the pigmentation of the glosses are really nice and not sticky ??
stephieestie says
Ugh, butter and bread is the best! I can literally just eat that and be happy, lol.
thepinkimpact says
Totally the best! I’m with ya on eating that and being happy! And then some chocolate afterwards ??

Apple Dumpling looks beautiful! Glad you’re enjoying the Beauty Blender, I purchased a makeup sponge recently too (not a Beauty Blender) and it makes everything look more flawless 🙂
stephieestie says
It’s a great product! Yeah the beauty blender is nice but I feel you can get the same results by just wetting a makeup sponge. It’s just bigger which is more convenient as you can cover your face more quickly. 🙂

Your highlights look great!
Oh somehow I missed your review of that Tartet palette – off to read now!
stephieestie says
Thanks and don’t worry about it. 🙂

I swatched that palette last time I was at sephora and the formula is incredible I really didn’t have high hopes for it bit once I touched it .. the shadows are just so buttery smooth and pigmented!?
stephieestie says
So creamy and smooth. It’s one of those eyeshadow palettes that you have to try in order to appreciate it. 🙂

If you get a chance, definitely try it as the formula is incredible. Tarte has some great items! 🙂

I love your highlights! So pretty! Yes, the blue shampoo will help with any orangey brassy hair. It happens, I get that too with my hair. If you don’t naturally have blonde in your brown hair but have more of a reddish hue you’ll get the brassiness over time. Have a great weekend! xo <3
stephieestie says
Thanks Jen! Your hair looks great too! Is there a specific blue shampoo you use and recommend?
Jen says
Tigi Bed Head Dumb Blonde purple toning shampoo. Ignore the silliness of the name. I love it and used it for the last ten years when ever I get highlights.
stephieestie says
No, I’m familiar with the TIGI names so it comes as no surprise, lol. I used the TIGI Bed Head After Party Smoothing Cream for such a long time in high school. Loved the smell and it left my hair nice and shiny. I’ll keep this one in mind next time. Thanks Jen!
Jen says
Yw, Steph! I hope things are well! Sorry it’s taken me so long to respond back. Been a bit busy but yes TIGI have some decent products. 🙂
stephieestie says
Don’t even worry about it Jen, 🙂 I’ve been a bit behind on blog reading too. Things are good and hope all is well on your side.

Your hair looks so pretty with the highlights! I think I’m going to have to pick up that gloss too. Not really a gloss fan, but I love that color and the name is too cute!
stephieestie says
Thanks Kaily! I’m impressed with these glosses. They are almost like a liquid lipstick, just a glossier version. I don’t think you’ll regret it.
